School Year 2019/20

We have some availability from September for children from 2 years to school age. Our opening hours are 9am to 2.30pm,
Monday to Friday. We offer a range of morning, lunch and afternoon sessions to suit your family’s needs. We are also accepting children who qualify for extended hours funding and can offer this up to the 27.5 hours a week we are open. Please contact our Administrator to arrange a visit or for further information email:

To place your child's name on the waiting list, please contact our Administrator. You can register your interest in the Playgroup by downloading a registration form here and returning it to the Playgroup Administrator by post or email. Places for the morning sessions tend to fill more quickly so we advise that you let us know your preferences as soon as possible so that you are able to secure the sessions that you would like.

Fees are payable each half term and parents/carers will be invoiced at the start of the half term. Fees can be paid through online banking; bank details are given at the bottom of each invoice or by cheque.

Failure to pay fees or regular late payments may result in your child losing his/her place at playgroup. The committee will try to accommodate the financial circumstances of all families and can arrange a flexible payment plan if necessary. Please speak to the Pre-school Leader or contact the Treasurer on the committee.

We currently accept payment via the government Tax Free Childcare Scheme.

Nursery Education Funding

Children receive Nursery Education Funding from the term following their third birthday. Parents can claim up to 15 hours of pre-school sessions per week. Claim forms are issued each term to all eligible children and parents are required to indicate how many of these hours they wish to claim for. Any additional hours over the funded 15 hours will be charged at £5.50 per hour.

We also accept children who are eligible for extended funding (also called 30 hours) up to the 27.5 hours a week we are open.

For more information on Early Years Funding please read this useful guide supplied by Cambridgeshire County Council. You can download a funding form to make a claim for your child, which the Playgroup can support you in completing.
